A portion of the profit from grooming and boarding and the limited sale of Hyer Luv cocker pups help fund Mid Michigan Cocker Rescue. Hyer Luv moved to a secluded 5 acre spot under the sun in Rockford, Mi in 1993. After working in other kennels, I felt I had a different concept for providing a HYER standard of companion care. Our first facility allowed us to give personalized care to 10 guests. In November of 1999 ground broke for our new state of the art boarding and grooming facility allowing us to care for an additional 10 K-9 friends and add a Kitty Kondo room. As well as expand the grooming facility to accommodate the newest, safest, companion friendly equipment. Companion care is a passion for Fred and Sam Hyer. From traveling to Tufts University to learn from noted k-9 and feline authorities, certifying annually in companion first aid and CPR, taking clicker training from Karen Pryor, behavior classes with Brian Kilcommons, Ohio Veterinary Conference to learn the latest in animal behavior and care, even winning grooming competitions. (the list is extensive of the events these devoted care givers have attended/continue to seek out) Striving to have state of the art kennel and grooming technology, seeking out the best education in animal training and behavior, and being certified in animal CPR and First Aid are only a small part of why if you..."Think about it there MUST BE Hyer Luv" for your Best Friend. |

(Boarding and Grooming) Boarding rates are $15.00 for under 25# $18.00 for over 25# PER CALENDAR DAY $12.00 for day care M-F 9am-6pm other hours of drop off and pick up are regular rates. Cat boarding starts at $8.00 Full grooming starts at $25.00 |

| We are honored with great guests and want their parents to be able to see them should they choose. Permission is granted by the owner for all pictures shown. (Therefore not all companion guests are shown on line most parents prefer to have photo's emailed to them for private viewing as well as pup-dates on how camp is going for them!) |

Hyer Luv has been blessed with some of the grandest specimens of the breed. Not only in the show ring (obedience, agility, therapy, field, conformation), whelping box, or on the sofa. But in the homes of families that become our "family"! |
